Need phone unlocked

I've been trying for the last three days to get my phone unlocked. Once I receive the email from At & T for the request, your supposed to revive a email with a link to get it unlocked. I don't receive those emails. But, I do check on the status and it always says denied. I've went through the check list and we qualify to be able to unlock it. I don't understand what the problem is. I really need to get the phone unlocked so my husband has a work phone.

Just so everyone knows, AT&T did absolutely nothing to help me. I will NEVER use AT&T again!

Such poor customer service!

I even called Corporate. They told me two weeks to port the number. 

Verizon is no better either! They wouldn't port my husband number over to his phone. After dealing with both companies for a week I finally gave up and purchased him a new phone with a new number through Tmobile. Not something we wanted to do. AT&T you should treat your customers better!
