Is refurbished s 22 ultra the new factory new s 22 ultra

I thought I was buying a factory new galaxy s 22 ultra in green from at&t in Aug last year  or so they said it was

Since day one I have had problems with it and I have been calling customer service and Noone would help me .then about 2 weeks ago when I woke up I tried to open my phone PASSWORD INCORRECT!!!!!

I know my password was correct it's been the same for over 20 yrs!!! I keep trying and it keeps locking me out longer and longer it eventually locked me out for4 hours! I went to the at&t store ABSOLUTELY NO HELP AND RUDE IS NOT THE NAME FOR IT . I waent next door to the ups store they let me use the computer and one of the ladies let me use her phone to call Samsung they walked me thru a factory reset .On my way home I call at&t back and screamed at the representing and hung up on him . He called me back 10 minutes later and said when I hung up on him he asked is manager how they were gonna make this right and they told me they were sending me a new phone.when my "new " phone got to me it was worse than mine .I actually took a video of it all it did was sick on one screen and jump! So I called at&t back and they said they were going to replace the replacement phone with a "new"phone and again no luck when I called back again they said all they can do I send me refurbished. I said I'm not paying factory new price for refurbished especially when it came defective to me originally finally a tech  from at&t said send it to samsungbits under warranty and it's free.  There is no physical damage it's still exactly the same as when I first received it so I did when phone got to Samsung I was originally free until repair tech looks over it and said LED screen inside is damaged!!!!!

I called at&t back told them what samsung said and at&t said what do you want. I WANT THE PHONE IM PAYING FOR   FACTORY NEW GALAXY S 22 ULTRA!!! Not to mention every month since I've had at&t my bill is always wrong

I'm sick of it at&t

The horror stories are true

Of course the store wouldn't help you, they're powerless in this sort of situation.

On my way home I call at&t back and screamed at the representing and hung up on him

Why on earth would you do that? Screaming at minimum wage workers doesn't help

AT&T can't do anything about user locks. Neither can any other service provider. It's called a user lock because only you, the user have control over the lock.

I'm sure the factory reset also required your user Samsung or Google account login when you restarted the phone this is a secondary user lock, factory reset protection.

AT&T does warranty replacements based on their contract with Samsung to do so. If you are not happy with AT&T's warranty Replacements then have your warranty replacement done directly through Samsung.

For years Apple has required their warranty be managed directly by them in order to assure some level of quality.

In the end, your phone is not an AT&T product it is a Samsung product. If you're having a problem with the phone, contact Samsung and complain to them.

Harassing employees of AT&T is only going to get you trespassed from premises and hung up on.   They do not get paid enough to put up with your bad temper

Dude you said in your first post that you called and screamed at AT&T.   That's unacceptable. I don't know who you work for but do you think it's fair that customers of your business call and  yell at you just because you happen to be the first person they get a hold of?

Nothing you posted indicates you were lied to by AT&T or any of its employees.

Yes it was a lie AT&,T when I bought my phone originally AT&T it was suppose to be factory new I'm suppose to be the original owner you know the person who buys it first only owner! But when I sent it to samsung its not I'm 2nd owner so I consider that a lie! What's your definition of lie mine is saying or telling something that's false

There is zero evidence that your first phone was refurbished. And any phone that was provided to you by warranty was refurbished, or contained refurbished parts , because that's the warranty agreement.

And if you send it to Samsung, Samsung may send you a  refurbished as well.  That's what warranty does.

Warranty does not guarantee you a brand new phone in exchange for your used phone that you have had several months.

The only time you get a new replacement is if you return a defective phone within the first 14 days after purchase

When I first purchases my phone from AT&T it was suppose to be factory new and yes you can find out from the IMEI number original purchase date and if it's first date of activation and yes I was lied to about that by AT,&T I got my phone in July last year and the first purchaes and activation of my suppose to be new phone was April and no not all phone companies give refurbished phones for warranty  years ago when Metro PCS before it was metro by t mobile metro sent me a factory new phone for warranty

I suggest you read the warranty terms on the phones your buying.  As it is a contract.

I do read them  and all the fine print I've never had this kind of trouble or experienced such horrible customer service and I know what rude is ive been in customer service over 30 years and my family is nothing but loud rude Italians from NY  and I'm originally from south Florida so I've seen rude but nothing like AT&T

That's all I'm saying
