Galaxy S8+ from AT&T to Boost
I have a Galaxy S8+ from AT&T that is no longer in use. I'd like to use for my daughter with Boost. Is this possible?

Hi @D_Robinson, we'll be happy to walk you through what needs to be done so your daughter can use that Galaxy S8+ with Boost.
Our ACE @formerlyknownas is correct and makes a great point, you'll need to unlock the S8+ before it can be used on any other carrier's network. You'll also want to make sure this device is compatible with Boost's network before hand, too.
In order to get your AT&T device unlocked, the phone will need to meet all of our unlock requirements otherwise the request will automatically be denied. Once you confirmed the device does meet all the requirements, you can submit an unlock request online.
It can take up to 48 hours for your unlock request to be approved, but once it is, an email will be sent out with an unlock code and instructions to complete the unlock request. We have a list of unlock instructions you can view, so you know what need to be done to unlock your Samsung Galaxy in advanced.
We hope this answers your questions about using the Galaxy S8 on Boost's network. If you need help with this process, let us know so we can research your unlock eligibility together.

You would first have to carrier unlock the phone.
And you have to check compatibility with boost. Boost probably has an IMEI check
