Galaxy S4 on AT&T?
I've had an AT&T cell phone account for over a decade, for a cheep flip phone.
I've always been into tech, but never was interested in a smart phone until last year, when I purchased my Samsung SM-J260A for $62 USD.
I'm enjoying it, and expected it to meet my requirements for a while.
Last Christmas a friend gave me his old Galaxy S4, it has a much better camera than my SM-J260A.
It's a Verizon phone. Verizon's people have assured me that it's not locked.
The first time I took the phone to the AT&T store, I was told Verizon needed to unlock it.
A person at the Verizon store assured me that it was already unlocked.
Back to the AT&T store. This time the story was that AT&T no longer supports the Galaxy S4, and can't activate it.
I'd really like to replace my SM-J260A with the S4, it's mostly about the camera.
Does it make sense that the S4 is too old to use AT&T's cell network?
That was Christmas, I've decided to take another shot at it.
