Galaxy A10E unlock

Im having trouble unlocking my galaxy A10E. I have tried everything and It is very frustrating. I bought a new service and sim card through mint mobile to be my new carrier. I had straight talk before that and att before that. It is an att phone originally. The phone is paid off 100% allowed to be unlocked. I tried calling straight talk and they said I would have to talk to att to unlock it that they cant due to it being an att phone. I called att and they said to unlock it online but When I try to put in my mobile number It says cant be unlocked. Att says that It is a resseller phone then said they cant unlock it. They say straight talk will have to unlock it. But I bought the phone at an att store it says att on the back cover and when I start the phone. This is extremely frustrating i just want to use my new mint service I paid for. Does anyone know how to deal with situation. I need my phone up and running this is rediculous. I need my unlock codes.

Hello @JamesC1494, we are here to help wit your device unlock.

We understand how important getting your phone unlocked is. Here's things to know about unlocking a device through AT&T.

If you are planning to use your AT&T Device with another carrier, it has to be unlocked and meet the requirements listed below.  You'll also find information about why your request may have been denied.

Review our Device Unlock requirements

  • AT&T phone or device and isn’t active on another AT&T account.
  • Was paid in full when you bought it (not on an installment plan). You won’t have to wait 60 days to unlock it.
  • Has a paid-off installment plan.
    • Paid through your monthly bill: Submit your unlock request at the start of your next bill period.
    • Paid off early: The wireless number assigned to the device must be active for at least 60 days. Wait 48 hours after you make your final payment to submit your unlock request.
  • Doesn’t have a past-due account balance. Make a payment to bring your account current. It will take 24 hours for your payment to post.
  • Hasn’t been reported as lost, stolen, or involved with fraud.
  • Is an AT&T PREPAID phone that has had paid service for at least six months.

Let us know if this helps!

Do not enter your phone number. You need to put your request in as a non customer and you also need to somehow disassociate the imei with your previous provider, which I presume is Straight Talk, otherwise you will get a response that the imei is active on another account. If that Straight Talk account is no longer active, there should be no problem.
