USB mobile modem
Hello,
We're a French orchestra (Ensemble Correspondances) coming in 15 days for a tour in North America (USA and Canada) and would like to know if AT&T would lend or sell us a USB or Wifi mobile modem from April 25th to May 18th.
Many thanks in advance for your help,
All the best,
Julia BERTRAND for the Ensemble Correspondances

Hello JuliaBERTRAND, we're here to help give you the best USB mobile modem options for your tour.
As the ACE @sandblaster mentioned, AT&T does not lend or rent devices, but you could buy one.
Mobile hotspots are portable devices that allow you access the Internet when there is no nearby Wi-Fi signal available.
Whether you are traveling for work, on a road trip, or hanging out at the beach – get Internet connectivity, streaming, and entertainment on the go.
Shop AT&T’s selection of mobile hotspots now.
Feel free to reach back out to us if you need further assistance, and thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums.

Let's share everything you need to know about using mobile hotspot, JuliaBERTRAND!
Mobile hotspot devices are compact and portable data-only devices, giving users a way to stay connected on the go. Any Wi-Fi enabled device can connect to the Mobile Hotspot. Mobile Hotspots can typically connect 10 devices. So to answer your question, yes, you can access the AT&T network to surf the internet through the hotspot device using your smartphone.
The Netgear Nighthawk LTE Mobile Hotspot Router is currently the only hotspot device we offer. You can use the link previously provided to purchase it online. You can learn about the Netgear Nighthawk features & specs using the User Manual.
This device requires an AT&T PREPAID data-only plan. You can use the prepaid webpage to review data plans for mobile hotspot. If you don't plan on using a lot of data, you'll be interested in AT&T DataConnect Pass plans.
Be sure to check what coverage is supported in the area you plan to visit because access to the network requires 4G LTE coverage. You can confirm available coverage by using our wireless coverage map.
We hope you find his information helpful! Let us know if you have additional questions.
Thank you for visiting the AT&T Community!

The Internet forum is for home internet. Moved your post to the wireless forum, specifically prepaid since prepaid would be the service you would need. ATT does not lend or rent devices but you certainly could buy one. Go to att.com/prepaid to see plans and devices.

Many thanks Jeff ! I'm afraid I wasn't explicit enough : we would need to get access to the Internet via smartphones. Is is the same thing ?
Thanks again,
Julia
