'Sponsored Data' with AT&T Now app, using my hotspot on a Roku failed. It Def counts against my 8gb, I ran out of data on 4 hours.

I burned up my gigs in 4 hours and no I have none.. also I bother the 12 month pre-pay

Pretty sure the sponsored data only applies to the ATT Now app on a mobile device meaning phone or tablet, not a Roku.

I was ready to say the same thing until I found this FAQ that says otherwise.. https://drive.google.com/file/d/15oafvWCDa9KmWcDZOM7PZeYYxHpTGNBW/view?usp=drivesdk

What are you seeing on that FAQ that you think says otherwise? If it’s that last question, note that is says “on an eligible device”. A Roku is not an eligible device. If you were watching on a tablet through your hotspot, that would be an eligible device.

I will confirm @sandblasters comment. Data is only sponsored when you are using the mobile application. Roku is not a mobile device, therefore has no mobile app.
