Receiving Text Messages while International
Hi,
I have the 35¢ / Minute Prepaid plan and I was wondering if there is any way to get my text messages while in the UK?/What add-on/plan upgrade would I need? I have a different UK phone number for most of my needs, but some confirmation texts are on my USA number and can't be switched.

Nope.
You cannot add the $35 roaming add-on to a per minute plan and that plan is not capable of Wi-Fi calling either. You will have no AT&T service until you return to the United States. ( both roaming and Wi-Fi calling require a monthly plan)
Also note that pay per use plans no longer exists and if you switch off it you cannot get it back
