pepaid plan for tourist (non-US-resident)

Hello

i'm a tourist from Europe. I tried to get the AT&T prepaid for $300 by using my hotel adress in the US and my german email adress. Everthing was fine untill the end and I 've got an order number at last. But I didn't get a confirmation email so i could send a copy of my passport. I've got an email "we couldn't verify this order .. really came from you". Where 's the mistake? It's a proper email adress. How can I verify myself online?
