Is it possible to apply the 12 month prepaid offer to existing prepaid service?

I'm already on the $50 8gb prepaid plan with autopay making it $40/month. I'd like to pay $300 for 12 months of the same service if possible, but I'm not seeing a way to do that. If I make a $300 payment on my account will that suffice?

@Constructive  Thanks for the response. Being prepaid, my current period ends tomorrow. If I discontinue autopay, disconnect my number, and establish new service, would I be treated as a new customer and receive the offer?

Thank you. Is it possible to pay to have a new number changed back to the one I'm currently using?

Your best bet to keep your existing number is the port out and Port right back in again.

No, you will not be able to add your phone number back if you take a new number you'll be stuck with that new number.
T-Mobile has I think like a $3 Prepaid Plan and they also have a $15 plan which would be a good option just to switch out and then switch back.
You need your account number for AT&T which you have to call AT&T to get. You also need your security pin.

When switching back you will need the account number and security pin of whatever carrier you choose.

Another customer posted tips for when you switch back so that you are sure that you're put on the correct $300 plan

Thank you for taking the time to reply, I appreciate the suggestion. Unfortunately my number is not elligible to port to T-Mobile but I will investigate other options in that direction.

⭐ This was advice from someone else 🤞
When you get you new AT&T SIM card:
You should be able to get online and purchase the $300 plan, then have your number ported over to the new sim card.

OR

Skip the customer service number all together and call the ATT port service at (888) 898-7685 to port your number. This will deactivate your old phone service chip and activate the new ATT chip but it will not have a plan on it so you can't make calls on it. You have to use someone else's phone to call the payment specialist line at (866)608-3007 to then have them charge you $300 and afterwards you should be good to go.
