We are here to help you switch from a multi line account to an individual account, @vivian0913.
To switch to your own individual plan,
We’ll send the member a text message letting them know of the change. Once the line’s removed, the account owner will lose any associated discounts for that line and won’t have to pay for it. The member will keep the same rate plan and expiration date they had with the Multi-Line plan, and they'll be responsible for paying the full, undiscounted monthly plan charge going forward.
To use AT&T prepaid outside of the U.S., get the international travel add-on to talk, text, and use data while in select countries. Plus, use it to call to other countries and more.
Another great option will be to use Wi-Fi Calling. You can call, text, and use Visual Voicemail with Wi-Fi Calling. Just make sure you have:
We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

You do not need to have your line moved to an individual plan. You can stay on the multi line plan while you travel. What you need while traveling is the international travel add on detailed above by ATTHelp. You purchase that add on from your own account, not from the multi line account.
