Upgrade Prepaid Hotspot Device
Oh I have a Netgear MR 1100 hotspot that I have used with an AT&T prepaid plan for a few years. I’m interested in upgrading to a Netgear 5G device that is compatible with AT&T. How do you on switch devices on my account? And do I need a different Sim card,

You move your sim card. Should automatically register that you're using a different device when it's connected to the network.
As long as the device was purchased from AT&T, or compatible with AT&T it'll work just fine
