Replacement Battery for ATT Turbo 2 Hotspot
I’m looking for another battery (model #MF01) for my ATT Turbo 2 Hotspot (that I use with an ATT PREPAID account). I need a pre-charged back-up when hiking and camping in outback areas
I have checked EVERYWHERE including the Jiade (manufacturer) website.
I would appreciate only solid leads. Do not refer me to “Velocity 2” sites. Please, no speculations, just, if you know, please direct me.
thank you.

If batteries are not currently available for it, have you considered taking a power pack with you to recharge the battery it has? Some are small to just put in a pocket with other accessories.
If you need something more powerful there are some special ones out there if you want to leave at camp or if comfortable add to the pack.

I'm with @Juniper on this. I am often not in my own home and don't always have access to a place to plug in my phone. I always carry at least one power brick that I can plug into for recharging my phones.

Thank you for your comment.
However, I think folks are missing the point I am trying to make. When a battery fails and you are in the outback, you are (Edited per community guidelines). Having a back-up is a must. Bricks cannot charge a dead battery.
ALSO: This is NOT a phone, it’s a mobile hotspot that I need the replaceable battery for.
I’m simply looking for a second battery. If someone from ATT is monitoring these comments, and you know EXACTLY HOW and WHERE to order this battery, please respond.
To others, thanks for your responses, but, please, I need a (Edited per community guidelines)ution.

If by "dead" you mean will not charge ever again, that would be an issue. But if you mean fully depleted, then yes they can still charge it. Being a phone or not doesn't make a difference, that was simply used as a reference.
This is a public forum of other customers. So if you want an official response from AT&T, then give them a call.

I have the same problem. Part# 711700572011, 1ICP8/42/61. Used it for 10 months and now won't charge.

Batteries are not covered by warranty because they're 1) EXPECTED to fail much more quickly than other hardware, 2) EASILY replaceable by user, 3) LEAST EXPENSIVE components, and 4) READILY AVAILABLE.
ATT provides a snap-lock lid on the battery compartment and instructions in the user manual for the user to replace the battery. They expect that users will NEED to replace batteries. The lack of replacement batteries is a DESIGN FLAW which MUST be covered by warranty inasmuch as; A fully-fueled car may be sold with no manufacturing defects, but if it is designed with a sealed gas tank, you can only drive it 'til the gas runs out.
I will replace the battery myself if ATT sells me a replacement.
If they don't, I demand a new Turbo 2 under warranty by (3) and (4).

Can’t seem to find a compatible battery anywhere. I have also seen several people online with the same issue. Battery dies after a few short months, no replacements available. Device won’t take charge so is useless. Very poor from AT&T.

I am still on the hunt for this battery.
Guess I'll just have to purchase a new hotspot, but it won't be AT&T.
Thanks for nothing AT&T.
