What is the device?
How could you possibly think we could answer without that info? If it’s 2G or 3G, it won’t work.

Yes, you can use it on prepaid.
Does the device have to be paid off? Or will it work on any AT&T device

Are you still paying installments on the phone?
My contract account was cancelled. And I am paying the device off
Your contract was cancelled? The only contract AT&T has is for phones on an installment plan.

Yes. So they said I have to pay the remaining 400 to unlock the device but that’s to use
it ine another network. I want to
use it on AT&T just as a prepaid account
