Mikrotik LTE Hotspot: MUCH slower than tablet?
I have an ATT prepaid tablet/hotspot plan. I've used virtually zero of the 15GB of data. When I put the SIM in a tablet, I get about 30-40 Mbps via speedtest.net. If I take the SIM out and put it in my (R11e-LTE-US, which is listed as being a supported device) Mikrotik Hotspot, I get < 5Mbps. This is with the same APN details that the tablet is using, and at the exact same location. The tablet shows about -110 dBm, whereas the router (which has a much better antenna) shows -71dBm.
So, it's certainly not the time of day (every time I've tested it, I tested at the same time as the tablet), and I've certainly not run out of data (I have 14.5GB remaining).
Any ideas what the deal is?

As a IOT device.
Your using a tablet line in a hotspot that is not how it works you need a hotspot dedicated plan. The system is doing it on purpose like it should.

The Mikrotik isn't listed on that page. The IMEI comes across as a Moxee Mobile hotspot (I'd assume because Moxee probably uses the same R11e PCI modem).
The R11e-LTE-US is listed on this AT&T Page.

The plan is, quite clearly, labeled as a hotspot/data plan... What exactly does hotspot/tablet mean?
