ATT blacklisted my phone

I got a new iphone, my old iPhone, that I paid for in full, I gave to my daughter.  After about three days, ATT, blocked the device from the network.  WHY?  The phone was not reported lost or stolen.

@Jenmtyson it shouldn't have been blocked if it wasn't used as a trade in on the newer Iphone. Also,if the Iphone(older one) is below an Iphone 6 model,it's no longer supported and the system will shut it out.

It’s an iPhone 11 Pro Max.  It was not used as a trade in.

@Jenmtyson there shouldn't be any issues then. The phone is free and clear, and legally your device.Call loyalty, and tell them the situation. They should remove the restrictions, and it be used again.

Where was the iPhone 11 purchased? From AT&t? Or a 3rd party?

And you never made an insurance or warranty claim on the iPhone 11 and had it replaced?

The trade-in deal is completely irrelevant and has nothing to do with whether or not the phone is blacklisted.

Hi, ! Let's confirm if your iPhone 11 Pro Max was blocked from the AT&T network and then we can look into how we can get it removed from the blocklist.

Let's go ahead and meet in a direct message, so we can gather and discuss your account information in a private setting. From there we'll be able to confirm your concern and then work towards an escalation.

Please have your login credentials available for verification purposes once we're in a direct message, which is the chat icon next to the bell icon located in the upper right corner of the Forums.

We'll speak with you soon!
