I applied for a new line on AT&T and put I wanted to trade in my old phone for credits. But I no longer want to trade in my old phone. Can I just not send the phone or would there be issues with the company?

Yes, there's no requirement you send in your old phone. It's yours to do with what you want. AT&t will probably send you a few messages because they're expecting the phone, but just ignore it and you won't get credits
