Trade in is looping around USPS ad infinitum
Sealed trade-in in return box. Delivered to USPS, received the USPS receipt, then tracked for 3 days from CA to Nashville, then from Nashville to Nashville. Then a USPS update everyday for 4 days stating "In Transit, Arriving Late" - was supposed to arrive 10/26.
I call AT&T and Eduardo tells me: "not to worry, I checked the trade-in's IMEI, it was shut down, I have tracking information, and you will get the full $1,000 credit if it doesn't show up."
So why am I worried? See, I only have 4 days to give the new phone back to AT&T.
I've been given bad info by AT&T reps before. Eduardo tells he can't send me a text or email reciting what he told me. I asked for a supervisor. After holding a bit, Eduardo tells me the supervisor told him what he told me. And I couldn't be transferred. But, not to worry, he made notes of everything and they are in the system forever. And I'll get credit...
What? Me worried?
Anyone else experienced this?
