Trade in amounts vary?

I recently upgraded to an S23 Ultra. I traded in a Note 9 and received a credit of $300. Trade in amounts vary depending on thr traded phone? I thought I would be getting a full trade in of $800 or $1000. Was I wrong?

Thank you

It depends on when you made your purchase, and whether you are on a qualifying unlimited data plan with a base price for one line of $75 or more.

If you are not on a qualifying plan you would have received book value for your old phone only as a one-time credit.

The trade-in offer for Samsung phones changed on May 11th and again may 18.  The "any Galaxy, any year..." Is over.

You can go to the AT&T sales page and look up the offer for the S23 series, expand the arrow points to see the list of eligible devices. If your phone valued at more than $35 but less than $69 book value you would be eligible for $350 spread out over 36 months.

Good morning, @Jb1255. We can certainly understand that it can be disappointing to receive less than you expected for your trade in. However, the final trade in value determination takes into consideration the device's make, model and condition. If device shows signs of wear it will still be accepted and value adjusted accordingly.
