Store Issues

Today I went in the store at 577 N Thompson Ln in Murfreesboro Tn. I was looking to upgrade 3 lines to IPhone 14’s but wanted the next phone took off my account. I was not using the next plan because we normally pay our phones off before trading them in. The service rep made me open the ATT app on my phone and removed the plan from one line. I asked him to remove it from the other two lines or at least walk me through the steps so I could remove it. He told me he could not do that and I would have to call ATT to get them to remove it from the other two lines. He stated that the store cannot make any changes to the accounts I asked him why he could do it for 1 line but not the other 2 lines and he stated he didn’t have time (it took him maybe 3 minutes to remove it from 1 line). I told him I was not upgrading until it was removed from my account. I asked for the manager who told me she would not do it and that they only way it would be removed from my account was if I called ATT. I asked her why they could do it on 1 line but not the other 2 lines. I also asked would she show me how to remove it and I would be happy to do it myself. She stated they did not have time to do that. I even explained that I wanted to upgrade the lines but she refused to help and was extremely rude. I have been a customer of ATT for 20 years and have 5 lines on my account. We normally replace our phones as soon as they are paid off. I will buy my phones directly from Apple from now on after finding that ATT no longer values their customers and that you cannot go to a store to get help on the phones they sale. Also, this was a company store.

That’s an authorized retailer not AT&T they live by their own set of rules.
