S23 ultra trade in ($1000)

Hello, I recently got the s23 ultra in att corporate store. At the time the deal was too good to pass up $5 and some change for the ultra with qualifying trade in (I have multiple phones that qualified). I had already been looking elsewhere and the 1k offer for trade in was hard to refuse. I asked the rep can I send phone in later and still get the 1k as I had personal info I needed to make sure I did not lose from relatives that had passed. They said yes. Now I have not received anything to send the phone in yet and I look and the offer has went down to $800 on there website. My question is will they still honor the $1000? This was the entire reason I did the deal and didn't cancel and go with another carrier. The rep said it should be locked in. Is this true ?

The credits are dependent on when you purchased your phone. If you bought the phone while it was $1,000 in credits, you still get the credits. You have only 30 days to get your phone in. If you purchased in a corporate store, you may be able to trade in your phone at a corporate store

Order a kit

Make sure you fill in information carefully and use the trade in code so that you get full credit. I also advise taking a picture of the label with your tracking information, taking a video and saving the IMEI of your phone. Document, document, document

Make sure you take it to the post office and hand it over the counter and get a receipt as proof of when you mailed your phone and to begin the tracking process. Without this, you have no proof you mailed your phone on time

I looked at my receipt and there is no trade in code. Not sure where I would find it.

Is there a reason why you can't just drop the trade phone off at the store you purchased the new phone from?

TRADEOFFER23 was the code for that promo, if you do decide to mail it in.

The trade-in code is included in the instructions, which is all in the link that I posted...

Hi bjp859, we are here to answer your trade inquiry regarding on whether the trade in offer will still be honored and how to get shipping materials for your trade in device!

Our ACE formerlyknownas is spot on the trade in info. As long as the trade in was processed during the promotional period, and you meet all requirements, you'll receive your promotional credits.

Shipping materials are usually sent 10 days after you receive your new device. You can reorder your shipping materials by navigating to ''Lost your shipping kit?'' and entering your email address and confirmation number to request the shipping materials.

Please allow 5-7 business days to receive your shipping materials, additional days may be needed as shipping times can be extended during high traffic times.

We are here if you have additional questions! Thank you for reaching out to us on the AT&T Community Forums!

@Cingular I didn't know I could do that. I guess if I can, I will take it there to trade it in. Be a easier more fluid process that way.

Thanks for all your help! I will contact the store to see if I can drop it off as I have recovered all personal info from the old device!
