Order Pick-up delay?

Hello, I ordered a phone yesterday around lunchtime for pickup from my local store.  I know typically it takes 2 hours, but this morning (11:15am), the order is still processing, and I’m off to a destination wedding tomorrow (and my order will be cancelled if I’m away for 3 days once the order is ready).  I have tried calling the store 3 times; however, someone answers saying “please hold” and then I’m on hold for over 30 minutes before giving up.  Is there anyway to get in touch with the store or simply cancel my order at this point?  I can find a different store to pick up my order from then (but I’ll be sure to check that they will answer the phone first).

The lovely Paul B. from AT&T chat gave me the number (844) 791-6125 to chat with a team member there to help with details.  However, I am unable to reach a human at that number.  There’s no hold music, once I click “2” to “check order status”, it’s just soft noise.  Any other options?

I finally got through to my local store, they are unable to process any online orders at this time and recommended I cancel my order entirely.  How frustrating.

Hello @Felixplus, this is not the experience we want you to have. We're happy to help with information for placing your order online. 

 

We use ID verification to confirm the identity of a person who wants to get new service or manage their current service. Use your mobile device to take a picture of the front and back of an acceptable form of ID. This security step will help us make sure you're really you.

 

If you are unable to place your order online. You'll have to place a new order at one of our stores. Find a store near you.
