One UI Beta

Can you please please please please please allow One UI 6 beta updates for AT&T phones? Why are you keeping your customers from being allowed to benefit from all of the advantages of the latest UI? What can we do, as customers, to facilitate this change? I recently switched from T-Mobile to AT&T, and now I'm beginning to regret it. Actually, I've been regretting it for a variety of reasons ever since making the switch. AT&T does have some good features, and I appreciate this. But limiting customers ability to take advantage of the latest UI applications and updates is, not only frustrating, but bad business! For example, I'm actually considering switching back to T-Mobile! I hadn't ever even considered it until finding out that one UI 6 beta is not supported with AT&T model devices. I purchased what was, arguably, the best phone available (Samsung Galaxy s23 Ultra), and am paying for the highest tier of service...now I find out that I'm not able to use the features and applications that T-Mobile customers, and customers who purchased unlocked phones, are able to access?! Somebody please give me a reason to stick with AT&T... and quickly! Thank you, in advance.

Can't be discussed here

What exactly does that mean? Could you please expand upon that? Elaborate? Elucidate? Do you have a suggestion for a more appropriate place to express my grievances, Etc?

Gratitude...

If we were allowed to discuss the process, Then I would have discussed it with you.

You have to have an phone without carrier software.  You don't.   You're going to have to infer what the rest of the conversation might be from there

We understand the situation and concerns regarding our policies on software updates for your Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra @ BonathanJell4tt0.

It can be disappointing when your device doesn't receive the latest updates as quickly as you'd like. However, it's important to note that the availability of software updates, including beta versions, can be influenced by various factors, including carrier agreements, device compatibility, and software testing.

Here are a few steps you can take to address your situation and voice your concerns:

  1. Contact AT&T Customer Support: Reach out to AT&T's customer support to inquire about their policies regarding software updates and beta programs for your specific device. They may provide you with more information on their update schedule and any potential plans for supporting One UI 6 beta updates.
  2. Consider Device Unlocking: If your device is carrier-locked, consider unlocking it. An unlocked device may allow you to receive updates directly from the manufacturer (Samsung, in this case) rather than waiting for carrier-specific updates. Keep in mind that unlocking a device may have its own terms and conditions.
  3. Explore Other Options: If timely updates and access to beta programs are essential to you, you may want to consider switching to an unlocked device.

Hope this information helps!

Yeah everything attcares posted is wrong just plain wrong.  Sim unlocking the phones does not change who the updates come thru.  Flashing the U1 software will tho.  But you will have to do that on your own.  Fyi my s23 ultra is on the beta.

🤦🏼‍♀️

Well at least ATT suggested an unlocked (non carrier) device.

We are not supposed to discuss altering software which is what you're asking.
