Management at ATT store , Tri county location . Cincinnati , OH
I recently purchased a phone from this store , and the employee who sold me the phone made the mistake of giving me a new phone while always allowing me to keep my old phone . They called a day later I guess when they recognized the mistake and told me I would have to return my old phone . I made it clear even in the store I would like to keep my old phone and if not then I wouldn’t be upgrading . She still processed it however she did then I get a call . I’ve spoken to someone earlier and she told me she filed that complaint for me . But I went into the store today after talking to a customer service rep and after reviewing my account she said that it doesn’t state that I need to turn the phone in so I was going in to make sure they weren’t going to charge the account that’s not in my name any extra funds . I got there around 1:15 pm today (10/24) and was inside the store until about 1:45 . I would love for someone to pull the cameras inside hopefully there is audio as well the manager was overly rude , she cursed at me multiple times because I just wouldn’t give them the old phone and I told her I already reported their “mistake” and that made her upset . I agreed to turn in my new phone and just to reverse everything because I am not willing to turn in the other phone and she kept telling me how much power she has to charge the account whatever she feels . It gets so far she decides to tell me in the store “ pop this **** in the parking lot” . This is unacceptable and some one should really pay attention to what happened inside this store today . Police even got called .

This is definitely not the experience we want you to have, @Jessica7.
Thank you for brining this to our attention. This is not how we treat our customers. We are happy to bring you in to a DM to submit feedback on the manager who assisted you. You will find a chat icon next to a bell icon in the upper right corner. Our next message will appear there.
Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums. We look forward to chatting with you soon!

My daughter had to go to that store today (11/21/22) and the manger was extremely rude to her, so much she left the store in tears, called me - I called the store and the manager yelled at me and told me my daughter was rude to her... I asked for her name which she refused to give me, and told the manager that she was not being a good manager... she told me I was not a good AT&T customer... I called AT&T and am filing a complaint. Totally unacceptable behavior from a manager.

Her name is Kyla . I called the 1-800 number as well and left a complaint, I spoke to several different representatives as well. Hopefully they realize she is a problem. She seems to be the problem please contact them to let them know.

Sounds like an AT&T Retail Store and not an AT&T Corporate Store. The Retail Stores are independently owned and operated separate from AT&T and are not staffed by AT&T employees. They pay by their own rules and unfortunately AT&T has no control over how they conduct their business. Both stores look exactly the same.

When I asked her if the store was a corporate store she told me it didn't matter it was her store and she made the rules and what she said went... I am working on getting in touch with the regional manager as well as I will be filing a complaint with the FCC and AT&T.

@kwarner69 It does matter. As I mentioned, they are independents and pretty much set their own rules. Basically, anything goes to make a sale. A regional manager from AT&T isn't going to be of much help because they have little to no authority over how that store is run. File a BBB complaint against the store is about all you can do. If you file a BBB complaint against AT&T those go straight to Corporate and someone from the Office of the President will contact you. They may be able to help as well.

BBB complaint has been filed and forwarded to AT&T corporate. She should not be threatening customers accounts or physically threatening anyone or making customers fearful at all. She is not a good representation of the AT&T community and honestly should loose her job. I understand people can have a bad day, but she seems to simply be a bad manager and does not have good customer service skills or know how to deal with the public in a positive manner. I was able to get my issue handled on the telephone with an AT&T representative, but I do have to return something to that specific store and am considering asking for a police escort to do so... it is bad when you cannot even take care of your transactions with a store for fear of account fraud or physical harm.

Literally same situation for me . She actually called the police after threatening me and receiving the same retaliation. I got customer service to email me a shipping label and sent my device back that way because it had to be through that store as well.
