iPhone 14 upgrade no paying plans, only full payment?
Going into my account. And checking to upgrade any of my 3 phones I only get full payment option. No financing of any kind. No tarde in options either. But if I check to buy a new line. Then I get options to to trade in for the $1000 advertised. How is this possible?

You haven't provided us any information.
Did you switch to AT&T with your own phones within the last 90 days?
Do you have installments active on all three lines on your account, making you ineligible to upgrade at all without paying off your phones?
Did you purchase three new phones last year and have not yet reached your 50% Next up, 18 month date?
Have you paid late on your bill more than once in the last 12 months?
These are just some of the reasons you might not be eligible to upgrade.

I’m a client for about 18 years. I have phones on installments but paying for next up. All my phones are paid more than 50%. I paid late my bill. Yes. But it let me buy a new line in installments. Just not upgrade.

Hello, @Victorwol! We understand how frustrating it can be to not be able to upgrade your device.
As the ACE stated, if it is not giving the option to upgrade the line, it may not be eligible for an upgrade at this time. If you have a current balance that is due, that could be a reason why it may not be allowing the upgrade.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

No balance due. It’s because the phone is on Next UP that’s not available. It seems that’s a really bad idea to have your phones on Next UP because you miss all the promotional credits. I was able to get what I wanted with the help of someone at the ATT chat. But won’t be adding Next UP anymore. Makes no sense at all.

Next up allows you to upgrade when your phones are paid off 50% which would be at 18 months. You can then upgrade early by returning your current phone and beginning a new installment payment at full price.
You cannot use Next up early upgrade and take part in the next promotion. The only way you can upgrade now and take part in the $1,000 office to pay off your phones 100%.

Yeah. That’s why makes no sense if you don’t upgrade exactly at the month 18. If you wait more. You end losing money. But it’s done now. Good thinking for the future.

Especially since AT&T is increased the "fee" for Next up to $6.
My advice, buy from the manufacturer

I ended getting a decent deal anyways. But I won’t be adding next UP. Specially because their credits are split over 36 payments. So if you upgrade again at month 18 you get half the credit. I think it’s only good for those that upgrade a single line every 18. It takes me like 24 or 28 since I upgrade one line and pass my old to my wife and send back the one she have. Not a brilliant deal for me.
