I live in Oregon. I am on vacation in Arizona. I am trying to sign up for new service, getting charged sales tax.
Hello,
I am trying to sign up for new service as a new customer. I am currently on vacation in AZ. My residence is in Oregon. Oregon has no sales tax. This is the main state this will be used in as well as paid in.
can anyone waive the sales tax in AZ so I can purchase and start service now while on vacation?

Sales tax is paid to the state where purchased… need to purchase in Oregon if want their tax system.

You are only charged sales tax on a phone purchase. You are not charged sales tax on your service plan. Now if you are talking about other state taxes on the monthly bill, you need to change your place of primary use to Oregon.
