How can I cancel all AT&T services

Please, please, please just tell me how to cancel all AT&T services. I have been with att since they were Bell South, my wife and I simply, originally wanted to pay off our cell phone installment plans early, that’s all, that’s it. Well after being on the phone for over 4 hours, 6 different agent transfers, another 3 hours on line and guess what? ATT refuses to allow us to pay off these phones. Went to the ATT store only to be told they were not authorized to accept any form of payment. I didn’t believe that then and I do not believe that now. I will be in our bank first thing Monday morning to stop atts auto draft to stop all payments going to ATT. I guarantee that then and only then, ATT will be glad to allow us to pay off these phones. Never again ATT.

You pay off your installments online in your myATT account.   Only a corporate store can apply a payment to installments. Authorized retailers cannot. And you should never use cash.

You have to use a debit or credit card. You will get a warning that it is not reversible.

If you are receiving credits, any future credits are void.

If you got your phones under a 2-year contract, which would be very rare, there is no payoff but there will be an early termination fee which will be due immediately after you port your phone numbers to a different service provider.

I will be in our bank first thing Monday morning to stop atts auto draft to stop all payments going to ATT.

🤦🏼‍♀️. That is the worst idea I have ever heard of. The results is AT&T will suspend your service and then you can't leave because you cannot port a phone number unless it is active.   And until your phones are paid off and unlocked , they're useless on another service provider.

This is also not a grown up response to a problem. Asking other people for help is a grown up response to a problem.

Your not understanding at all, but then again we are talking about ATT. We simply wish to pay off these phones early and none of these options are working. Maybe you might try re- reading the statement.

I understood what you wrote.

Maybe it is you who are not defining the problem by providing enough information?

I posted the link which describes how you log into your online account View and pay off your installment. Why don't you start with what happens when you try to do that?

Explain what you see, and explain why you cannot see your installment or pay off your installment if that is the case?
