eSim - Two way transfer
Under the 5 phones/lines that we have in our account, we'd like to switch two phones. We recently upgraded one line to an iPhone 14 and now that is activated and working fine, we'd like to switch the line with another phone (iPhone XR). In the past I've done it by switching the physical sim cards, but I am not seeing a way of doing it with eSim. I see there's a Transfer or Reset iPhone option in Settings but it seems that may just be for moving one line and not switching lines between phones. Similarly, most of what I've found line talks about just doing an upgrade (old to new) and not actually a two way transfer. Is there other way besides visiting store or calling customer service?

You need to first move the number for the XR to the other sim on the 14.
Then move the number from the 14 to esim on the XR.

Thank you for the information. It was a bit similar to what I found and my issue was that the new phone was already activated but your comment about moving one number and then moving the other afterwards was key, and more to the point which wasn't covered in the guides. I ended up doing Add eSim via the settings on each phone. But in doing so wasn't able to restore from one to the other. I think if you then do a reset then you'll be prompted to restore but it said it erases your esim. Not sure exactly getting the esim/line back on would look like. I may restore later on, but for now the lines are transferred between them.
