Customer Service Reps

Has anyone else had to deal with AT&T reps who are hard to understand and absolutely ruin your deal that you spent hours trying to get set up? I spent two hours at Sam’s Wholesale working with a lady to set up new service with 5 new phones. I later called a service rep to modify one of the phones from an IPhone 13 to an IPhone 13 Pro. The rep proceeds to CANCEL the whole order! Then apologizes, says she can’t undo the cancelation, and tells me to just go back to Sam’s and waste another two hours redoing what I had just finished doing. Incompetent rep screwed up everything. Now I have to tell the kids they aren’t getting new phones.

Not surprised.   Whoever sets up and places your order gets credit for the sale.   And Sams/BJ/Costco are well known for lying to people about prices and promotions. (they are Smart Circle, not AT&T)

Look at this as a second chance to go on line on AT&T's website and double check everything that you were told at Sam's Club.  While they can offer you an extra perk through Sam's, they can't alter At&t deals or prices.
