Corporate Phone Order Cancelled - 'Unable to confirm identity'

Completed the online order form using appropriate internal mailing address, employee ID, and business unit. I have received this message on multiple order attempts upon manager approval:

"We were unable to confirm your identity with the information you provided on your order, so we've had to cancel the order."


There is no additional information provided so I'm at a loss for what the specific issue is.

The most common reason this message occurs is due to either incorrect information being used, or there was an accidental error such as a typo. Try going through the order process again and verify everything has been input correctly. 

 

If you're still receiving this error, even after confirming the information is correct, then you'll need to locate and visit an AT&T store with your account information and photo ID to verify your identity and place this order.
