Completing an unlock process
I was going though the process of unlocking my old phone, I just got a new one. So I received an email saying my phone was unlocked and to back up my old phone before erasing it. So if I already have everything on my new phone, can I just go ahead and erase the old iPhone? I know this is probably a stupid question, but I don't want to mess up and do something wrong! Thanks for the Help!

The instructions say to do a backup/restore but erasing the phone and setting back to factory settings also completes the unlock. Since you've already transferred contents to your new phone, no need to restore the old one.

I will guess it's an iPhone? To complete unlock process, follow the directions given in the email.
