Cannot verify shipping address

AT&T is a joke when it comes to buying a new phone if you live in a rural area .they use usps for verification is what I was told but our mail is picked up at the post office .there’s no route delivery .I ordered a new phone from Apple two months ago and used my physical address that we have and it was here in two days .ups and fed ex is here 3-4 times a week .i have a repair shop here so there’s a lot of parts coming in .can’t use a P.O. Box and won’t recognize my physical .yes I went to the store which is an hour an a half each way .they will only ship it to there store .well I was there last week .they accepted cash to pay off my other phone but guess what .wouldn’t accept cash for the taxes on the new one .i had no credit card with me .there plan was for me to drive home and get it and come back .that’s 3 hours of driving time .then place the order and wait for it to be shipped to the store .another 3 hours of driving time .not to mention me already being there .after reading this forum then it’s apparent it’s a common problem .why should we have to beg to buy something ?

We understand how important it is to order a device and get it delivered to you, @304elliott.

 

We can see how inconvenient this can be. You are able to use a different address such as a family member if possible for the meantime if driving to the store is not an option. We do understand driving to an AT&T store is not ideal in this situation.

 

We are happy to submit feedback on your behalf to about not being able to have your device mailed due to it not being verified. You may also want to reach out to USPS to see when and if your address will soon be added to the system.

Are you (Edited per community guidelines)ting me ? I mean my family all live close to me .there address don’t work either .the ones that do are farther then the (Edited per community guidelines) store .your company should take a hard look at this issue .you can search it in your forums and it will show up again and again .your system is flawed and there’s no help on your end .we cannot reach a representative in the USA .(Edited per community guidelines) near impossible..I think you guys should take a deeper look at this issue.I’m sure you won’t but your company (Edited per community guidelines) as far as this issue .we have to jump through hoops just to buy a phone from y’all even though it has a (Edited per community guidelines)ty promotion or incentive attached to it .
