AT&T Representative ordered me the wrong phone
So I went to my local at&t store to upgrade my iPhone 11. Told the sales rep that I wanted a silver iPhone 14 pro. He went on to tell me that he was surprised I picked silver since everybody is getting wither space gray or deep purple. He then proceeded to order the phone and I paid. Looked at the conformation email the next day and saw he ordered a space gray 14 pro and not a silver one. Now I’m stuck with having to call other at&t stores seeing if they have the silver and of course they don’t. Will I be able to exchange it at a apple store or at&t store even if it is not in stock?

If you ordered it from AT&T you have to return it to AT&T. You do know that you can order the phone you want online, right?

I wanted to go in person to ask about getting my own individual plan then doing a upgrade. Once I found out that was not possible I went ahead with the upgrade and initial trade in. Had I known I would’ve just ordered it myself. But since the employees were rude and did not acknowledge the mistake I will be returning it do a different store.
