Hi there, we understand you are concerned about this charge, and we are here to provide the right information and help you.

Since you have already contacted the fraud team about this case, allow us to offer a suggestion.

Please contact your bank and dispute the charges at the source. This will give the bank a chance to apply a chargeback on your account, and if the dispute is accepted by the issuer and becomes a chargeback, the bank will reverse the disputed charge.

Hope this helps!

Wow.  Att no help at all strikes again.

The charge in on his at&t bill!

@Kool101

File a better Business bureau complaint online. These complaints are forwarded back to AT&T upper management with someone will contact you. If you don't get an immediate credit and those items removed from your bill, file a formal dispute

Our monthly  bill increased and when we looked to see what the increase was due to, we noticed on October 10, 2023 that 2 AirPods were charged to our account. The AirPods were purchased at a 3rd party store in Tallahassee, FL, over a 1,000 miles away from where we live. Customer care could not help us and referred us to Global Fraud. I completed the online form for Global Fraud, as there is no one that you can actually speak with. Then I filed a complaint with BBB. My husband received a call today from someone located within the office of the president for AT&T. My husband asked if he was calling in regards to the complaint that was filed with BBB, the person said yes. This person was given all of the information that we have in regards to the store, where it was purchased the name of the sales person that the transaction was made by amd they said that we should hear back by Monday. we certainly hope that this is resolved promptly. we do not understand why there are not specific security measures that need to take place in order for a consumers account to be protected. Both at the AT&T stores as well as any third-party locations. They should all have to follow the same security procedures in order for anyone to be allowed to charged their AT&T account. They act like they have never heard of this happening, but if you were to Google this or even in this form, you see that this type of fraud is not new to them
