Replacing 2 sliding glass doors

I’m replacing 2 sliders. How do I get new contact sensors for the new doors?

@Mc130a   Hello. You can utilize the existing contact sensors, you would just need to use new double sided tape on them. If you need an additional sensor , you can contact us at 1-855-288-2727 option 3

That number only gives you a link and then hangs up on you. The link has nothing about ordering contact sensors.

If someone is going to replace those by your own, you should always keep in mind the sizes of frames in your new sliding glass doors, and sizes of new contacts. Of course they should fit, of you will face different types of issues.

Almost 4 months later, I am still waiting for a contact sensor that I have ordered. I keep getting emails stating they still don’t have one. Why is it taking so long?  Pretty sure your answer will be COVID. COVID is the excuse for everything these days.

When I trying to change my old frame and sliding doors, I was looking at tips at this resource ( here: https://urbansplatter.com/2020/12/types-of-sliding-glass-doors-what-is-the-difference/ ), with it's comprehensive explanation and comparison between different types of such sliding doors. The main thing, in my case, is reliability and durability for those doors.

@Mc130a

Good morning,

We apologize for the delay in receiving your contact sensor but they are still back-ordered. We will notify you when they arrive.
