I have purchased a home that has a DLC100 system. Can I transfer previous service?
I inherited a DLC-100 system when I purchased this home in May. It has cameras on two doors and sensors on doors and windows. The previous owner said that the system was operational, but she didn't have it monitored. She apparently stopped the monitoring when her two-year contract ended... but she still accessed and monitored herself with a phone app. I talked to AT&T about transferring that to me and was told I needed her to authorize that... I contacted my realtor, who contacted the previous owner, who said she would do that. Haven't heard a word since. I get the impression that AT&T just wanst to sell me a new, monitored service contract. All I want is to activate it and use it as previous owner--monitor myself, including cams. Do I just have a useless boat anchor without the expensive monitoring?

@SkipLann Hello. In order to be able to utilize the app and view the cameras , there must be active service at the home. The main controller has to be active and communicating to the devices in the home for everything to be functional and utilized. If you are interested in activating service, click on my user name, then click "Send PM" to send me a private message with the address and I will take a look at the options that we have for activating.
