How to Uninstall Digital Life
I just bought a home that has an ATT Digital Life security system installed. The account is not active, and I cannot afford to have the package. The front door has a keyless, keypad entry. It does not work. There is also an outside camera. All of the doors and windows have sensors, and the keypad/control arms itself randomly. Are there any instructions as to how to remove all of this equipment? If I just start removing sensors, will it set the alarm off?

@gyt752utrak98 Hello. There is a main controller in the home somewhere, most likely a closet. You can unplug that and remove the battery and then you can just remove all of the items that you want to. Nothing will set the alarm off as it is not an active account, however, if you do not unplug the controller first you could have the siren go off in the home which will turn off after 5 minutes , but unplugging the controller will prevent that from happening. Sensors can just be popped off and everything else can be removed with a screwdriver. Let me know if you have any other questions.

@Mav204 Yes, most can be used in a new home.
@jcarri Are you trying to uninstall the system in your home or uninstall certain devices?

@jcarri Hello. Unfortunately that is not something that we can tell you, as it all depends on which package the previous customer had or if they purchased any ala carte items or they may have taken some items with them. The number of items can vary greatly. There is a main controller in a closet somewhere in the home and contact sensors on windows (they may not have put them on all windows) and either contact or recessed sensors in the exterior doors , and a keypad... those are the basics, however, they could of had more than this.

I have a digital life system that I own but currently not active in my apartment. I am moving to a new location and would like to reinstall and activate this system with the additional upgrades accessories. How should I go about the process?

I am SHOCKED that there is NO path forward when you acquire a home with AT&T Digital Life install. Our equipment is in great condition and was expertly installed. Now we have to tear it out on our own?
Epic fail, AT&T. It's almost like C. Michael Armstrong never left...

@TsoLremotsuCTTA Hello. Are you referring to no option to activate the service, or just to have the equipment removed? We do not remove the equipment from the home as it was purchased from the previous homeowner.
