What's needed to switch phones?

Ok so I'm on my dad's plan and my brothers on my mom's plan. He got a replacement phone. We wanna know if we can switch his replacement for mine. So he takes my phone and I take the replacement. And we wanna do this without changing the plans. Can that happen?

Sure.  Just swap phones and SIM cards.  If they aren't the same size, you can get replacements at an ATT store, but will need account authorization to do so.

It would probably be a good idea for the OP to call AT&T customer service and have them update the IMEI number for the new phone as well so it will right on their account.  It will help with insurance claims, software updates etc...

Can I do it online instead of calling?
