Hi @qazxswedc'
Thank you for reaching out. We'd love to take a closer look.
For your new LG B470, have you tried to reset/power cycle the device in order to fix any errors that may be occurring with the AT&T address book application? Also, did you try to troubleshoot your device to see if you can resolve the error?
Let us know if any attempt works, otherwise we can explore other options.

Have same problem. On & off didn't work, but, when it starts 'opening address book', if I press cancel, it immediately opens my contacts.

The LG B470 is a 3-g only phone which means it will have to be replaced when 3-g shuts down anyway. Your new LTE phone will not have the AT&T address book on it. If you want to get ahead of the problem, consider switching to a new phone sooner rather than later. The Cingular flip 4 seems to be the closest option. If you're willing to pay a little more for a more durable phone oh, there is a rugged flip phone available for about $189. Keep checking the website as these flip phones sell out quickly

Unfortunately - AT&T does not seem to carry any phones that meet the needs I require. I have been a loyal customer since the Cigular days. Now, I just found out that my two wireless home phones may not work in a couple months and I need them because I don't get cell service here in the mountains. So after 20 some years, I may have to switch carriers/phones and pay twice as much. It is bad enough I am paying for services I don't use now. I need a cell phone with actual keys that I can feel and has a voice key tone option like my current LGB470. I used to have a Pantech Breeze, till AT&T told me I couldn't use it. We had gotten the Pantech Breeze for my father who had tremors and it was perfect as it would let him know he was was hitting the correct key. I am curious what the Amish are going to do as they are the ones that introduced my family to the wireless home phones. They were perfect because they have antenna's. Our Amish friends used them with a battery pac generator. Since I don't have signal on my cell phone, the antenna on the wireless home phone is perfect and I have all 3 lines on one account. Pay $10.00 month plus taxes and fees for the wireless home phones.
