How do I activate the Winegard 4G LTE + WIFI EXTENDER with TV/AM/FM ANTENNA?

WINEGARD ConnecT 2.0+ 4G LTE + WIFI EXTENDER installed on the roof of my 2022 Thor Windsport 35M class A motorhome. It has an ATT simcard. ATT support does not know how to connect it to the ATT mobile network. Any ideas?

Hello @ettudad, we're happy to provide you information to activate your Winegard 4G LTE.

If you are an AT&T customer, you can easily add Winegard cellular data devices to your current data plan for simple activation, use, and payments. Add a device to your current plan by inserting an AT&T standard-sized SIM card into the device for a seamless experience and pay just one bill.

Keep in mind: You won't be able to add your standalone hotspot device to your existing wireless unlimited plan with AT&T. Our unlimited plans are not compatible with standalone hotspot devices. However, you can still add a line to your wireless account for your device and set that new wireless line up with it's own data plan choosing from one of our Data plans for tablets and other devices at the provided link

  • Though our AT&T unlimited plans are excellent for heavy streamers who want to watch their entertainment virtually anywhere, you're more than welcome to use your Wi-Fi extender on any AT&T wireless plan.
  • Good to know: To activate a data-only plan, your device must have an AT&T SIM card, Apple SIM card, or an embedded Apple SIM. If you didn't buy your device from AT&T or if you need a new SIM, order an AT&T SIM card online.

You can also find more information on a similar post about how your Winegard 4G LTE connects data will work with our service as well. For steps on how to set up your Winegard 4G LTE to a WIFI extender with TV/AM/FM we recommend reaching out to the manufacture support for the user guide. We're here if you have any questions. I have a Winegard 360 + with the gateway router on my RV.  I added a line and 40 GB plan, AT&T sent me a SIM card for the device.  I will have to say, there has been nothing but cellular service problems with the device on the AT&T network.  It flips channels looking for a channel to connect to, then gives up and disconnects. Some days it doesn’t connect at all, even after restarting several times.  Data speeds at best are 15 mbps download and 5 mbps upload.  Generally it’s around 1.5 mbps download or less and 0 mbps upload.  I’ve spent hours on the phone with AT&T tech support with no viable solutions.  Their response is they can’t provision the SIM card correctly because the Wineguard router isn’t a supported device.  I use this service for work and IT HAS TO WORK, and it’s not.  I’ve done pulled all my hair out.
