Getting "You call can not be completed at this time" intermitantly when caling our toll free number

Hello,

I continue to get the error message "Your call can not be completed at this time" When I call our RingCentral Toll Free number. I thought it was related to the WiFi calling, but that was just a fluke.

Today I am having issues calling our toll free from AT&T Cell network. I called the number from my Ring Central Softphone and had no errors.

I just dialed our toll free number 12 times, I got our IVR 3 times and "Your call can not be completed at this time" 9 times.

Another colleague with AT&T has the same issue.  Another colleague with Sprint does NOT have an issue calling.

When I call from my Softphone on my PC and from my Ringcentral mobile app I have no issues.

So, from all we can tell, the issue is from AT&T to our toll free .  I called our main local number 10 times from my cell phone  and had no failures so it is not the local cell service, seems like something routing from AT&T to our toll free

How can we debug why this is happening? Any suggestions?

Regards,

Tom

Thanks for letting us know, @tpackert.

We understand how frustrating it must be for you to get the "Your call can not be completed at this time" when calling your VoIP toll free number.

According to status.ringcentral.com your vendor's operation team as confirmed a lack of connectivity to one of their east coast data centers which is effecting some customers in North America.

We suggest reaching out to your toll free service provider for more information. Take care!

Yes, I had started with Ring Central they said I needed to contact AT&T and ask about the routing to the 877 number.  I ended up working with someone in support and after a short back and forth in text messages, the issue cleared up.  Yesterday I was able to call our 877 number 5 times and get out IVR five times and no error message.

Thanks for taking the time to reply!

Same issue here in SC Yesterday and Today. I got the same response form RingCentral that it is an AT&T issue and AT&T found no issues on their end......

This is an ongoing issue that happens every few weeks between RingCentral & AT&T wireless callers.

Both support says it's not them.
