I just got the Update message on my Fire phone and was excited! I thought "Yes! Finally Fire OS 5 for my Fire phone!"   Nope. 4.6.6 to 4.6.6.1.   Really?!

Come on Amazon! I know that the phone was deemed a "failure", but I not only bought one, I LIKE IT!  (I had a iPhone for years)  You REALLY need to support this phone.  I am on the fence about buying an Amazon Echo. BUT...why should I? If it doesn't sell well, will you abandon it too?

Please hear me...the Fire Phone is NOT a bad phone.  Please support it and you will have retained my business.  I am an Amazon junkie.  I have a Fire HD tablet, I have been a Prime member for a long time now, I subscribe to Amazon Instant Video, and ANYTHING I buy on the internet, I always buy through Amazon! (including Christmas shopping)   I purchase music from Amazon Music as well.  Supporting the Fire phone is a huge deal to me.  I don't want to go back to "fruit".

You made the business decision to build it, now please support it!

I am an Amazon junkie also, but my sister is the one with all the Amazon electronics.  The has several kindles, the Echo and Fire TV.

The phone was new and unproven, so we passed it over.  I hope they continue to support it for you.
