Hey there @Cicismithhart, we'd be glad to help you with activating your AT&T router and your new SIM card.
Be advised, mobile hotspot routers require the Mobile Share or DataConnect plan in order to successfully use them. For PREPAID data only plans, we have four options availble for you to choose from.
Feel free to review and learn more information about what these plans have to offer.
To successfully establish your service, you'll need to place your new SIM card into your router. Whenever you're ready to activate your service, you can activate the SIM card online and choose your plan.
