Are the AT&T Radiant Core 'Free Replacement Phones unlocked or unlockable?
While the gift AT&T Radiant Core phones sent to me to 'upgrade' my non-VOLTE A51's, are junk to me, I was wondering
1. If I should just trash them
2. or if they are unlocked or unlockable
I would gift them to two friends that have almost unusable California Free phones for those who have not been able to get back to work due to Covid issues.

They are locked. They can be unlocked once requirements are met, the big one being either 60 day or 6 months of usage depending on whether used on postpaid or prepaid. I’m guessing you won’t want to use it long enough to unlock it. I got one of those for my son’s line. He activated it and quickly bought a pixel. He said it was slower than the Galaxy S4 it was sent to replace.

Thanks Sandblaster
That is what I assumed and so these two devices are just bricks. All 4 of our family like our current phones purchased during Covid times and so I will just need to continue with my plan for moving all 4 lines to another provider
