Reset Password But No Password Sent

Hello,

I reset password and was informed that a temporary password was sent to both my phone and email.  I am currently abroad and do not have access to AT&T service right now, so I am relying on my email.

However what I got is only a notification telling me that my account has an update, but no information about he temporary password is given. The notification email is posted below. What is the best way to reset my password?

I see our ace has shared some great information with you already @superleague.

There is a password reset link on the login page. You will not be able to access your login to your account from outside of the US.

In the meantime, we can share the information you will need to access your myATT app once you return back to the United States. Follow the steps provided in our helpful article to login to your AT&T account.

You can also call the AT&T prepaid international number while out of the US at 408-962-1025. You will be able to call this number free of charge as long as you're calling from your AT&T device.

Please let us know if this information is helpful for you.

If you don't have access and you change your password you have essentially locked yourself out.   You can't even call and give them the password now.

Prepaid customers password is only reset by text message . Reset is done by email if you do not have a phone on the account  (tablet only plans)

At&t customers are prevented from logging on from a foreign IP address.

You would have to call, but because you reset your password I have no idea if they will allow you access.

These are the long-distance numbers for travelers. Typically they are free from your AT&T phone, but if you have no service you won't be able to use them

As I can see you are Prepaid customer, you can password reset only via sms not even call. If you can't receive new password, try in unusual hours. You will get your password reset. This requires a lot of patience now.
