Password changed text

Hello,

Recently I recieved text (June 2nd, 3:38 AM) saying that I have changed my pin number. But I have not done this. I tried to call the Service Center but it took me so much time to connect. Hence I post at here.

I am worried someone hacked into my account. Could you help with this issue?

Sincerely

All,

We want to help you guard against fraud and keep your accounts and devices safe and secure.

If you did not request a temporary PIN, please do not click on anything in that text message and/or do not use that PIN. This is a tactic spammers have used, in the past, to acquire account information. Instead, please change your account password - either through MyATT or by contacting Wireless Customer Service.

Remember, AT&T will never ask you to send us your personal or account information via email or text message.

You can forward suspicious emails to AT&T Internet Security at abuse@att.net and suspicious texts to 7726 (SPAM).

For additional support, you can refer to our Protect yourself from phone scams page.

Thanks!
The AT&T Community Team

This forum is not customer support. No one here has access to your account. You should probably change your password and pin.
