This is a customer populated forum. Not receiving codes is not enough information. A little more detail might help. Like is this something that started suddenly? Are you a new customer?

Let's look into what's behind your device's inability to receive short codes, Bigalthehulk!

First, in order to provide adequate support, we need a little more information as @formerlyknownas already shared.

  • When did this trend begin on your device? Are you a new customer? Customers tend to have this occurrence more often after a port-in, number change, or device manufacturer change (iOS to Android or Vice Versa). Here's what you can do to resolve it:

    • Text "HELP" or "ON" to the short code: For most SMS marketing software providers, texting “HELP” or "ON" to the short code will reset the wireless carrier associated with your mobile phone number.
    • Contact the short code provider: It's possible that the company sending the short codes is experiencing delays/outages when sending those codes to customers. For a solution, it's recommended that you check with the company sending the code to ensure there are no trends that have developed on their end, or if there is a trend, what workarounds are available.

Also, as recommended in the table at Not Receiving Verification Codes from App - Solutions From AT&T you will want to check blocked messages for your specific device.

Try this and let us know how it goes. If you are still unable to receive short codes despite there steps then we want to take a look. There may be something on that back end that requires looking into in order to reach a resolution.
