Why has the coverage got so bad the fast few months?
I’ve never had a problem with my service. In the last month or so it goes off so many times a day!! My phone goes to SOS. This is so frustrating. I’ve check tower outage in the area. Seems it’s all fine. This is not great for me. As we only have cell phones to use. No land line. What’s going on??!! I can’t have a service I can’t depend on.

That is not something anyone here can answer. That's not enough information to even guess if your issue is network or phone or account. Coverage is location dependent, my coverage hasn't changed at all. Are other ATT customers experiencing the same issue or is it just you?

Dunno been having issues for awhile, but definitely having signal in and out since January. Att keeps saying all good, yet everyone in our neighborhood is losing internet and data signal. Currently as I type this, I've lost wifi 4 times. Att down, and you'll see a map of people on down detector who've reported issues with att, and yet att says nothing is wrong. Wish I knew what was going on, it's not like we aren't being charged out the butt just to have no signal of everything.

Already said att been saying no outages in our area, honestly just about everywhere. The make and model of my phone has nothing to do with every other person's phones, computers, tvs, consoles and so on that's makes up the neighborhood I live in. As in it's not my phone. Just letting it be known they ain't the only one, and it's not just their device. Not putting my zip code on here, I checked with att outages. It's the same as always "no outages", as everyone has issues in our neighborhood for two to three months now(according to the groups). It doesn't really bother me, it is what it is as long as it's not a day or more of no internet, I'm good.

At&t has gotten HORRIBLE in 2023. We're on a family plan and all 4 of us rarely ever have more than 1 bar at any given time, with dropped calls all the time. I've never had a dropped call in my life before this year - now it's constant. After speaking with Multiple reps trying their best to help - it turns out At&t has cell towers that are down all over the place, which is why we never have good service any more. They always say they're working on fixing the cell towers, but nothing has changed at all. It's just terrible, so we're switching carriers.

We are in the same boat @bey998
I feel your pain. AT&T has given us excuse after excuse and broken promises that our service will get better. Unfortunately we are locked in with them until our phones are paid off! We never should have taken the bait to get new phones with that deal.
We have been with AT&T for years and are so fed up with their bad customer service, it's sad how bad it has gotten.
Best of luck on your journey to better service!

I have noticed the same issues myself! AT&T always had the best service and now, it's awful! How could it change so much? My family has dropped calls, calls where I cannot hear the other person, terrible facetime reception and low bars on wifi! I came on here to see if others were experiencing it and it seems so! When are they going to fix it? My zip code is 68164 and I have an Iphone 12, so it's not my phone!

The more people I talk to about AT&T, The more I hear about how bad the quality of service has gotten.... I guess they want us to accept it, or move on to a different carrier. They just don't seem to care.

It seams to be nation wide too. I also have had terrible service in 2023. One bar if I’m lucky and I’ve seen the spinning wheel more than wherever I’m trying to do. Definitely not renewing when all phones are paid.

Many people are suddenly having these issues. I have an att phone and it worked fine months ago. It is not the phone. Areas that previously worked flawlessly no longer do. What more information do you want? Listen to all the complaints. I am in northern Howard county maryland. Fix it!!!!
