Roaming

9mobile Nigeria  formally Etisalat is not roaming on AT&T. It was not a cell phone issue. The sim was interchanged from iPhone 6s to an unlocked android with up to 5G capabilities but still did not connect to AT&T.

Network was switch from automatic to manual choosing AT&T but cell phone still shows no service. 9mobile Nigeria assured that it should normally latch to AT&T.

ATT won’t help you. You need to contact your carrier for support. Does neither phone connect to the ATT network? The unlocked android might not be compatible with ATT but the iPhone 6s should have no issue.

Already informed carrier. Carrier had no clue why roaming did not activate with AT&T.

i am having the same issue...when i do a manual search and att comes up but when i choose it ..it will say couldn't connect

Kindly note that the information provided by @sandblaster, is absolutely correct. If you're not an AT&T customer, then you will need to reach out to your current carrier for assistance.

i did and all they told me is to make sure my phone is on 4G,then manually search network then select ATT..which i did but when i select ATT ..... it says couldnt connt

@ricdux That probably means your phone is not supported on ATT’s network.

Please make sure your device is compatible with AT&T network  by entering the IMEI of the device.

 
Furthermore, If you can't find your device's exact make and model then you will need to upgrade as recommended .

Please make sure your device is compatible with AT&T network  by entering the IMEI of the device.

Here is a full list of compatible devices that can be used on AT&T's network.

 

We have some useful tips about bringing your own device:

  • Please make sure that the device is unlocked. 
  • Please make sure that the device is not registered as lost or stolen.
  • Please make sure that your prior account is in good standing.

ATT send us unlock code when requsted and i unlocked it,i inserted my MTN sim and it works fine but when i inserted the 9mobile it does the same ....i checked the IMEI its comtatible.
