Report dead zone

How do I report a dead zone in my area?  It's only like a half block radius, but my new office is right dead center in the middle of it.  I'm about a heartbeat away from leaving ATT over this honestly.

Use WiFi calling at your office. AT&T can’t do anything about a 1 block dead zone.

don't have wifi, as I'm out of the office 80% of the time showing houses.  I just used to use my ATT hotspot while in the office.  I guess I will be switching then.

Hi messyjessi45, we understand the importance of having service at your house!

Check out our AT&T Community article on how your home can affect your wireless signal and the fixes that may help. Dead-zones, in homes or offices, are beyond AT&T's control.

Solution

  • Move away from dead-zone(s) in your home, move near a window or area without electronics.

We are here if you have additional questions, thank you for posting on the AT&T Community Forums!

Hi, it's a deadzone outside as well.  If i walk a 1/8 mile in any direction I have data again though.   Sadly your coverage map claims to have data here, but it's not true.  8491 W Grand River Rd Suite 105 Brighton MI 48116

I would like to report that data services do not work near the intersection of Kennedy Blvd and Westshore Blvd in Tampa.   This has been going on for at least a year and I have confirmed with several other people (AT&T customers) that they have the same problem.   We can make phone calls, but cannot use apps or internet.   This is a very busy area in a big city - not a rural area.   The problem occurs whether one is inside or outside.

Entire Bayside Lakes area in Palm Bay FL is a dead zone. AT&T please take a look at this. You claim a new tower was installed but since then the service has gotten worse.

Las Vegas, Nevada.  There is a dead zone at the intersection of S. Decatur Blvd. and Blue Diamond Road/Highway 160.  It has been this way for over 3 years that I'm aware of.

There is now a dead zone at 528 Anacapa Street in Santa Barbara, California.  I can get data on my phone but no mobile hotspot data.  I have done a ton of tests.  This is not due to any of my devices.  The issue persists for a few blocks in all directions.  The frustrating thing is that there used to be perfect hotspot service here.  I used to pull down close to 200 Mbps over my iPhone to my MacBook.  Now it can't even enable the hotspot most of the time.  When it does, I can't get Internet and Speedtest says "could not connect to the internet."  This started about 4 weeks ago.  I have tried several times to report it.  AT&T's tech support is wirthless and doesn't seem to even understand the concept I am trying to explain to them.  And yes, I can enable my mobile hotpsot and get blazing fast speeds all over the place outside this dead zone....
